These are wonderful towel bibs, and great for infants who slobber relentlessly. They are not for larger babies, however, as I've discovered. The "collars" tear quite easily if the baby is more than 10 pounds or so (you know, the big head syndrome). But they are the best for smaller infants.

This towel was soft at first, then got scratchy after multiple washings. My baby didn't seemed to mind it, but I got a different towel for her. The washcloths stayed soft, though.

Customer Review: A BIT SMALL
Even though the dimensions are listed in the description these seem small and we can not use the hood at all, it will not go over our toddlers average sized head, I doubt it would fit most babes over 6 months old. We gave it 3 stars because 1. we can still use the body of the towel, 2. it is fairly thick (not like a thirsty adult towel) compared to hooded towels found at the "Super Stores" and 3. it is still putting organic next to skin.

Customer Review: Way too expensive!
These are very high quality, thick, fluffy washcloths with banded, sealed hems. They are lovely, sure, but I would not have bought them myself due to the excessive price - $17 for 6 at full MSRP. I've rated them 4 stars because they are very nice but I really balk at the price - if I hadn't received them as a gift, I wouldn't have them. I get through a dozen or more washcloths a day between spit ups, poop, pee and, yes, we even use them as washcloths, but the cheap 18 packs are more than adequate for those needs. Nice gift but don't order them for yourself unless you really have money to burn.

These towels are perfect for my one-year-old grand babies (see photo of Bear version). These are NOT the infant-size, lightweight hooded towel. Parents, you'll love them. Wrapped up in these towels, your babies/toddlers will be completely dry by the time you get them to the changing table. If you want a great gift for an infant or toddler, this is it! This towel scores high on the cuteness factor, but it is too small to bundle baby in. It was great when she was under one month, but by the time that she was two months I could barely get it wrapped around her.

This towel is very soft. Perfect for baby! It's just the right amount of thickness. Too thick and it's not for baby in my book. It's definitely worth the price since it's significantly thicker than the less expensive hooded towels by Carters. I love the classic yet contemporary look of this towel.
